PCSXR Emulator/Cheat codes issues......

Hey guys, i recently downloaded the PCSXR emulator on my mac so i could use some gameshark cheat codes for this game.

And before i go any further, i have played this game every which way for years, on my ps2 and ps3, and love it. I would just like to have the chance to use some fun cheat codes for a change, which is the only reason i am using the emulator. So no lectures from the purists, ta very much.

Anyway, does anyone know how to actually use cheat codes on this emulator so they work? I have the codes, in the correct format, saved on a ".cht" file, which is what PCSXR recognises, but i just cant get them to load in the cheats menu.

Anyone in the same boat, or have actual answers i would really appreciate it.
