HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE 2013 CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Exhange cards! Art! Puns and other jokes! Quotations! Store-bought greetings! Any and everything to tell your fellow EoFFers that you care about them.

Here's the rules:

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS 12/08/2013 @ 2100 EST

I'll send addresses to participants the same evening.

1) The Ralph Wiggum Rule:


No one wants to feel this way, especially at Christmas time. If you don't want to send a card to every person that may possibly sign up, I discourage you from signing up. If you'd like to have some private exchanges, that's great! Organize them via PM. If you want to participate in the public exchange, then you participate with everyone included.

2) Please follow all laws and practices regarding sending things in the post. That means no threats or nasty messages. You do that, you can go to jail. And EoFF jail too. I'm one of the guards at EoFF jail. Also, sending small objects in envelopes can sometimes cause the envelopes to tear or be opened by sorters who can't identify the object. Make sure you use appropriate containers!

3) To participate in the exchange you'll send me your mailing address via PM. You can use your real name, your forum name, a nickname, and you can use your physical address or a PO Box. Just don't use addresses where you can't receive mail.

Also, if you're participating in the public exchange, don't send your address to anyone but me. I'll collect them and distribute them to everyone participating!

4) Please delete the list of addresses once you're done. There's no reason to keep them once they've served their purpose.

5) Crazy fun! Crazy fun you should have it! Yeah!

I've been anticipating this thread! Finally, I'll be participating this year.

Is there a general rule of thumb of stamps per envelope? I live in America and obviously it's just one stamp for the other members here. But internationally, i'm fuzzy on how many I should put on.

Won't submit my info quite yet. I'm trying to do the math on postage cost and see how many other people sign up as well so I know how much I'll be spending :)

Unfortunately, I can't even really afford postage right now. I would have possibly done this if I hadn't just spent my little bit of spare money on Final Fantasy XIV. This is a great thing, though!

All I know is, this makes me really want to watch Christmas Vacation again. I missed out on watching it last year around Christmas for the first time since I was a kid.

Oooh. I'm employed this year. I could do Christmas cards. Give me a few hours in a castle and I'll come back with my decision.

OOPS GOOD QUESTION, I'll update the first post. Also, I usually take my international stuff to the post office and have them print postage for me.

When in doubt just pull a Molly Weasley and cover the entire envelope except for the address.

Still waiting for last years cards from A LOT of people. Including Foa. :(
