Your favourite recurring monster!

Tonberries and Cactuars get all the limelight, but let's not forget our other friends like Ahrimans and Iron Giants who show up game after game to get their asses handed to them by a gang of wandering adventurers. But who is your favourite...?!

I have a soft spot for the humble bomb. Zuus are also pretty cool.

A tossup between Tonberry, Cactuar and Malboro, but I went with Tonberry. They're scary. Especially that Mega Tonberry from FFX-2... nightmares.

how am i meant to choose between cactuar, tonberry and marlboro?

I guess if i'm forced to pick just one it has to be tonberry. I just adore those cutely evil little things

Guess it depends on what you mean by favorite. Tonberry's are cute, so are a lot of these monsters, but I hate running in to them past the initial "YAY A TONBERRY IN A FINAL FANTASY GAME" because they are a pain in the butt to fight. Same with Malboro's. I didn't have trouble with Bombs until XIII now I just hate the stupid things. Behemoths are cool but they CAN be a pain.

So in terms of adorableness and don't pull my hair out when I see them, I'm going with Cactuar.

The Tonberry is the correct answer. Who else can take on Gilgamesh?

Yeah, Behemoth love! Those guys are such ridiculous monsters. I love that they're a mix of a dragonlike bull canine beast thing. They're great.
