Why do all of the NPCs in the computer re-texture have completely wide, open, gaping mouth holes?
A lazy attempt to give them a mouth?
I saw a screenshot of Sephiroth with a mouth, didn't bother me much but I can't imagine having to do look at that all day.
It's the same texture as they used on PS1. They were huge holes because if they were just thin lines, they would be invisible in the low resolution of the PS1 when viewed at typical distances. In a larger resolution though (and in closeups on the PS1), it looks pretty strange.
Also, re-texture? I never heard anything about that.
Yeah it's so creepy
I dunno, Mirage. In every copy of PSX FFVII I've played, none of them had mouths at all. And in this version (I think it's technically a re-texture...it came out in 2012, I think) the main characters have straight lines, and the NPCs all have huge circles. Why couldn't they all just have straight lines? :stare:
It's laughably bad and disturbing.
maybe the PS version didn't have it afte rall, but i am certain the original PC version did
everyone wants to blow Cloud
Wait, I thought this game was about sentient blow up dolls for years! So THAT'S why Aeris didn't comically pop and deflate when Sephiroth impaled her!
It looks well dodgy, it brings the blow up doll "only fools and horses" episode to mind.
