More stuff from today. It obviously needs some work, but i guess it isn't terrible for day 2. Still have a long ways to go :monster:

This first one is my first attempt at drawing one of my story characters, which is the whole reason I'm trying to learn to draw. I tried to incorporate some of the stuff I learned yesterday, so I did this whole thing without the visual guide I used yesterday.

I much prefer the second one. i attempted to do legs crossed underneath the table, but I learned that I am just not ready for that yet xD.

Kinda looks like something a 6th grader would draw, but I'm still learning and practicing :P

You're doing pretty good. Usually, when you start drawing for the first time, your stuff will look like its been drawn by a grade schooler. If you keep practicing and draw as much as possible, you will gradually improve. I like how you are keeping it simple. Keep it simple until you feel more confident that you can do more in your drawing.

She's always hard on herself, but the stuff is looking pretty good. If she sticks with it, I can see her really developing a strong talent.

She's trying to talk me into drawing, but it's been toooooo long. :O_O:

You definitely have some talent there, shion. Like Sharky says, don't be hard on yourself. They look great!

I have exactly zero artistic talent when it comes to drawing.

I like the Pokemon trainer one the best so far ^_^

Okay so today I attempted beginner Julia and Sara from my story (most of you don't know what that means, but that's okay!). Sara turned out okay for a beginner drawing but Julia did not and I hate it and never want to discuss it again.

I cut off her feet because I was not at all satisfied.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys! It is really nice to hear. I'm kind of insane and get very discouraged if I can't do something perfect from the get-go, but I mean how could I? Some people draw for years before they achieve the level they want to and it's only been a few days. Have to learn not to be so hard on myself :P

I drew the Pokemon girl again so that maybe repeating the same thing will help me get better. And that inspired me to draw another one of my characters. I also changed the glasses on the hat to a bow!

Those are pretty good Shion! I find humans so hard to draw. I also like the pace of things, keep em coming! :cool:

Yes I draw mitten hands because I dun even want to go there yet.

You know what the worst part is? I should just draw nudes, because the midsection of bodies I am getting very good at, but it's always covered with clothes that I can't draw well. And faces. Who needs a face really
