My PS2 is back in Suwałki with my parents :onoes: But it would be awesome if you guys would playh this and post pictures and feed me. I crave FFXII. It's my favorite FF. Tactics Orge must suffice for now.
They were talking about emulating in chat for your PC in chat recently. Maybe you could emulate!

I have been meaning to get back to my last playthrough of this game where I chose to stick to certain job roles for all of my party. It was really fun doing it this way because I really had to plan around the Mark Hunts using this set-up. I had just parted ways with Larsa in Bhujerba when I stopped playing for some other game.
I will be out of town for a week and I have tons of other stuff going, but I would love to see someone else do a Let's Play. I researched the International one, to see the different job classes, and it just isn't for me. But I would love to see someone else play and see the differences!
I have finished this game recently (Anything <5 years is recent for me). It was actually stupid good fun. A good challenge could be to get one of every weapon in the game.
Getting the Danjuro took me about a week.
Dumb question.... is there a DS version of FFXII?
No, but there was a cash-in sequel made for the DS called FFXII: Revenant Wings, it's and RTS game.
That's too bad. I would like to play, but at this time I would like to do so on my DS as it would be more convenient, so I guess I'm out. :(
I would play this again, Freya. Time to bust my PS2 out of the trunk!
I have no good suggestions for challenges, but here is a list of poorly thought-out ones:
- Speedruns: it is a staple, right? Speedrun the entire game. Speedrun to the Zodiac Spear.
- Pokémon: got to catch all those Espers! All of them! ;)
- Marky Mark Mark: All Marks, dead.
- Job Classes: the NA version missed out on customized job boards, but we could give the NA release versions of the International release's boards? Also, we can agree that characters have to stick to a board once they get it.
- No Link In The Chain Missing: Getting a 99x chain on monsters? Even people who barely left Rabanastre could compete to max out on Cactites and Cockatrices.
- No Quickenings: Yeah, no shortcuts here. Maybe no Quickening unlocks either, so players have less Mist points?
- S-S-Soloist: Disable Gambits entirely. Player can only use their party leader in combat.
Half of this might not even be feasible, but hey, talk it out. Also, the Sky Pirate's Den will easily will mark some of these achievements, so if you need screenshots, there is a nice way to see progress.
I'd like to play it again, but I'm not sure I have the time at the moment. Have quite a few other games on the go right now.
