Auron and Belgemine. I think they'd have a very nice, professional relationship. They'd both focus on their task of training and preparing Yuna, with little more than a nod to each other in passing, with a "see you when you get home". A mature married couple, rather than young infatuation.
I always thought Rikku and Tidus would've been the best together.

Shauna and my relationship work because I'm a wild card and she's a down to earth stony face bum. Auron is a down to earth stony face bum, but Rikku is eccentric rather than wild. I don't think that would last.
