I would pick Selphie. I think she has the right attitude for the game and the characters in VIII are mostly blank canvases so she would adapt easily to the job class system.

I'm thinking Zidane would be amusing just because the game needs someone to finally hit on all of the ladies.
I'm thinking Edgar would be amusing for the same reason.
I don't know why, but I think it would be hilarious if Zidane was hitting on Faris before the reveal, just to see everyones confused faces the whole time.Quote:

Barret would probably make an interesting addition. Imagine a more light-hearted but still gruff and tough version of him reacting to all the loony 16-bit craziness.
Actually, they should just make The Adventures of Barret and Cid, where they wind up visiting and saving every FF world. Come on, that's a way cooler idea than Kingdom Hearts.
