Even the name is great. It's obviously a pun on "Right On!" and that is something Selphie, the airship's pilot, would totally say.

This one I have to give to FF IX. The Airship, Hilda Garde is hands down my favorite airship theme in the series.

FFIX's Hilda Garde theme reminds me of the end of A Neverending Story. It's just so happy and adventurous and la la lala la la.
What a great thread, and so difficult to answer. Searching for Friends from VI has not yet been mentioned, that was a really good track too. I might just go with the Lunar Whale though. To the moon indeed!

The answer is FFVII's without a shadow of a doubt. I mean there are others I love but no sorry VII has the best airship theme by light years.
Finally found an online version of the Airship theme from Final Fantasy II. It was an unreleased track, so I wasn't sure if it counted. It is still quite nice, and I figured it should be put up here.
I have to say it's IX's "Hilda Garde 3" theme. It just gave you that wonderful feeling of freedom and adventure.
FFVIII is second on my list. But FFIX Hilda Garde's theme is the best for sure :)
