THIS is what I want to see when it comes to new and revamped monsters. Look at the size of that ferocious beast! It's shot with smurfing harpoons and isn't batting an eye!

Behemoth is a classic, and my favorite thing about the battle in the trailer with it, is how it actually damages the ground and environment while it's charging and fighting.
Standbys like Cauctar and Tonberry will be anticipated but honestly I can't think of one I'm really looking forward to.
I think Blue Dragons would be really neat to see in HD form.

I think the FFX Anacondaur design is cool. They're also huge, so they can be made to look pretty scary.
I would also like to see the Amphitrites from FFXI in PS4 graphics, flying down between skyscrapers and shiz.
Also from FFXI, Caturae.
Iron Giants have the potential to be cool (I think there was a glimpse of some in a gameplay video) as do Adamantoise.
I have no idea what monsters I would like to see revamped; I just came in here to say; HOLY FREAKING HELL!

Tonberry was always my favorite. I hope he makes an appearance, preferably in a comical fashion (though this game is sounding more and more super serious and less whimsical which I don't like).
I'm trying to keep my anticipation levels in check out of fear of being disappointed.
But GOD DAMNIT this game is starting to reel me in.

Seriousness aside, I do love me some massive monsters that feel massive. I kind of wish it was a bit more purple, though... :(

Antlion obviously. That thing has looked pretty awesome every other time it's shown up.
Malboro, one of the most memorable monsters in FF history.
I would also love to see some summon bosses, the idea of fighting Bahamut with those graphics... pretty exciting.
And Shiva of course... ya know, for science >.>
