So which version of this game did you play first?

As with many people around my age, the US FFII cart was the first time that I played this game. I have experienced multiple versions since.

US SNES version, on an emulator.

DS Version. I had FF Anthology I believe it was called with 4 and 5 but never actually got round to playing it. Emulated it on my R4 Card

I ended up getting bored with the speed of the game, so turned on EXP modifiers/walking through walls etc and tearing through the game. It was going well and dandy until I found out that the walking through walls glitch also moved NPCs on the map, so when it came to fight Rubicante he had been moved off the map because I tried to warp to him. Glitched my game out about 4 times and I never actually got to battle him until i did it properly.

I played a lot of the SNES version, actually. I remember a lot of people dying, but I don't remember where I got up to, close to the finish, maybe. Ah well.

I have it for DS and I may get round to that some day.

I played the II version on an emulator on my iPod while I was away from the computer. It was.... exquisite. And also really depressing cause my party members kept dropping like flies. :(

FFIVJ rom. It was in the 90s but I just didn't have an SNES copy and when I saw hard vs easy roms I scoffed at easy-mode for no good reason.
