Is the iOS version any good?

So I've had my iPad Mini for over a year now (just after the end of the iOS giveaway competition, unfortunately), and I've never played any of the Tactics series, and I want to give them ago.

I was merely wondering whether the iOS version of the game does it justice. I know ports can be of varying degrees of quality, so I'm basically asking for a thumbs up or down on it.

Also, if I do get Tactics on iOS, I can take screenshots using my iPad and may end up doing an LP of it.

I have it and I think it's pretty solid. In some ways, it is an improvement over the PSP version - there is no slowdown at all and the sprites have a bit more detail to then. On the downside, sometimes the menus get buggy, but if you quick save and reset the device, everything goes back to normal, and that is pretty rare anyway. Not sure how that works on an iPad, but it really played great on my iPhone 5 ;)
