i liked running out of gas and leaving that trout in the wilderness and sort of avoiding the car rental place when i run back through to town just in case
I never bothered with it. The idea was neat, but I walked fast enough and was more interested in carding everything I saw.
I rented cars and attempted to drive perfectly straight on the road which I always failed at.

Considering that collecting magic and leveling is always a good idea, using a car just seems like a set-back. Maybe if you got in LESS fights on it but still had fights?
During my current playthrough, I only used the car when I had to. It's better to just hoof it.
Yes. More so during my earlier playthroughs when I had the gils because I enjoyed it and didn't like the random battles. Nowadays I just use the car for the same reason Neptunia does.
