The Ending

So some people have some crazy ideas of what the games ending represents, some thinking it was the team just being extra trippy for blowing the players mind, others feel it was symbolic of Squall's journey, others think it holds secrets about the plot. What was your interpretation of the games ending?

not actually hot dogs, thats a translation error. (or perhaps on purpose) it seemed weird to me, squall almost depressed himself out of existence.
