I never got ahold of a hard copy, but I emulated the fan translated NES version well before the DS version was released and absolutely loved it.
Nope, I have only played the DS remake. I would be interested in playing the original, though!
I played a bit of an emulated/translated version a few years before the DS remake. As far as getting an actual copy? Erm....no.
Played an emulated version forever ago. Back then, there was no reason to think we'd ever get it over here so I didn't want to miss out!
I have only played the NES version of the game on Vizzed. com, and I honestly prefer it over the DS remake.
Played an emulated NES version, only the first town or so was translated. Didn't have a clue what was going on.
I played it on an emulator, but I never got that far into it.
Yeah, I went to my local Blockbuster and obtained a copy. Completed it twice on two different playthroughs, years apart.
Was this the DS version? If not, why would a Blockbuster have a game that wasn't released outside of Japan?Quote:
