Hercules & Xena

Who watched these shows while they were on? Or did you catch them after the fact?

Hercules and Xena were another pair of shows I grew up on, Young Hercules too. I watched Xena and Young Hercules a bit more than Hercules, not because I didn't like it, just because Xena and Young Hercules stuck out to me more. I love Xena, Gabrielle, Xena and Gabrielle's relationship, Joxer, The King of Thieves (AKA Bruce Campbell), Callisto, and of course, ARES! GOD OF WAR! Who remembers how creepy Hera's eyes were?

They also had the greatest intros ever.





The Hercules intro is a little lackluster from what I remember... thought I was watching an ad at first. Still think I might have gotten an ad by mistake. Xena's the clear winner here.

Omg yes. I watched the trout out of these with my dad when I was a kid. They were smurfing awesome.

Also were on Netflix a while back. I caught them on there to relive the experience. It was great.

My sisters and I watched this most Sundays growing up as a kid, though I can't for the life of me recall the details. I know some weird, hilarious trout went on. Didn't really watch Hercules. I think Jack of All Trades was on around the same time as these two as well.

Let us not forget Xena's compelling speech about war.

What about Sinbad?

I played the PS1 game a lot.

I loved Xena. She was still hot even in BSG too.

I also liked Young Hercules, where I first fell in love with Ryan Gosling.

I mentioned the King of Thieves and Ares in my first post, n00blet :p

Kevin's death saddens me. No one could play Ares like he could.

I've actually never seen this show, although I know i wanted to when i was a kid.

These shows were the absolute greatest things ever.

I watched them both, but Xena much more than Hercules. I have her on DVD now :)

I'm pretty sure they were recorded around about 5-15 minutes from our high school. A bunch of the students got in as extras if I recall correctly.

The shows were both great. Not quality or anything. Just great anyway.
