As part of celebrations leading up to the release of Final Fantasy Theatrhythm Curtain Call, Square Enix have announced a contest where fans and future videogame composer hopefuls can show off their musical skills in a chance to win some great prizes. Fans are invited to create, record and upload a video of themselves playing the iconic main Final Fantasy theme, with all entries being 120bpm (beats per minute), played in the Key of F and no longer than one minute and thirty seconds in length. Fans should also give indication in the video of what their favourite Final Fantasy game is.
The prizes awarded to the winner of this contest will be:
* Complimentary trip for two to attend an upcoming Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy concert
* All of the official soundtracks for the numbered Final Fantasy titles
* One Final Fantasy Static Arts Mini Figure
* Signed Collector’s Edition of the game
* Signed Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Limited Edition Japanese Nintendo 3DS LL
And if that wasn't enough, the best entries are going to be judged by the great Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu, who will decide the grand prize winner. This is all part of the ongoing ‘Legacy of Music', campaign, launched by Square Enix to explore the roots of their rich music history. So be sure to keep checking back as more and more great announcements are made in the lead-up to the September 16 release of Final Fantasy Theatrhythm Curtain Call, exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS.

I'm the same, I used to play Piano/Drums in high shcool, but I've not played since I graduated from highschool about a billion years (6 years, really) ago. Lost touch of my musical ability which sucks.
