The Darkest Entry

So which FF do you feel is the darkest entry in the franchise in terms of subject matter?

FFIX.

FFVI

FFVII or FFX

FFX.

FFVII.

VII was pretty dark.

FFX is a pretty depressing world. A lot of trout goes down in FFVI too.

VII, AC, DoC, X, XIII-3.

I think X, I mean, you kill you're dad who has destroyed half the planet... and killed Chappu... and Luzzu/Gatta. And then there is the whole final aeon thing.
