Ridiculous hair began as a stylistic choice to compensate for the fact that some mangaka were (and still are) incapable of drawing a variety of faces. In a modern RPG with graphics that can make a PS3 blush with envy there is no reason for there to be only seven faces, and thus no reason for goofy hair. Wacky hair needs to die, alongside huge swords and whiny teenage leads. Put the dog down.Quote:

Look at FF8: Squall had his sorta spikey hair and fluff. Zell had his spikey hair and looked completely different. Irvine had long hair. FF9 didn't really have humans so doesn't count.
FF12 had Vaan with Tidus hair and Basch. And Baltheir looked pretty different too.
These dudes all look the same with crazy FF7 style hair xD
