Let's just all agree #1 is
I will admit, it puts "To Zanarkand" to shame, even if I prefer X's OST overall.
But what comes after in your list?

I'll start off by disagreeing. Eternity - Orchestra Performs is even better.
Then there's Wind Crest ~The Three Trails~ which is similarly beautiful, and of course Yuna's Ballad.
Well those are some of the rather melancholic themes. On the other side there's Flash Over which is part of the reason I spent way more time in the Fiend Arena than I ever should have, and Demise which does not disappoint as a final boss track in a Final Fantasy game. The fact that it plays during the Farplane Cup is all the better.
And no matter what anyone says, I actually really like the regular battle theme, YRP, Fight! No. 3.
Agreed on Eternity.
I'll Give You Something Hot is an awesome battle theme, really gets your blood pumping.
Eternity, Final Battle, Yevon's Secret, Yuna's Theme.
Always good to hear other people who love Shuyin's boss music. All the final boss themes in X-2 were rather good in fact.
I've always really liked the theme for the Crimson Squad. Oh and for something more upbeat, Rikku's Theme.
Yuna's and Rikku's Themes are great but Paine's Theme...what a disaster that was.
Eternity is good music to listen to when you want to go to sleep. That's the only track I have from that game in my music library.
Love Eternity.
I'll be unoriginal and say Real Emotion, and One Thousand Words.
It's "unoriginal" because it's fact. Everyone loves those songs and it's because they are awesome.
