He changed the way the world watched sports news and highlights. He fought hard until the end. So sad the world lost a great man today. Rest in peace Stuart Scott, you will always be cooler than the other side of the pillow.

Sad to see him go. Not even 50 yet.
If his family doesn't have "BOOYAH" as his epitaph, then it was all for nothing.

We were watching the playoffs yesterday when I saw the news. I'm not a big sports fan, but he's always been the most recognizable face of ESPN for me, so it was a pretty big shock. From the outpouring of love and support, it's pretty obvious he touched a lot of people and made a really big impact. Sad to see someone like that go at such a young age.

Awful news. A defining character in my childhood. He took sports entertainment to an unimaginable level.

I have a very distinct memory of being a teenager, getting ready for school or ready for dinner and turning on Sportscenter to see Stu Scott and Rich Eisen. Their unlikely yet charming partnership made the show more than just sports highlights. Watching Eisen's heartbreaking tribute to Scott just re-affirmed how strong of a bond those two shared. He was a strong man and fought to the very end. As so many have said, he didn't lose to cancer, he beat it every single day with how he lived.
Boo-yaw indeed.
Take care all.

SVP's beautiful tribute to him on the SVP and Rusillo podcast had the man tears welling up for me. Always sad to see someone pass so young, but he sounded like a man with a lot of strength and perspective in his ESPY speech.
RIP.

It's sad when anyone dies so young, but it's life-affirming to see someone battle so hard and stay positive throughout it all. Rich Eisen saying goodbye was one of the saddest things I've ever seen.
Booyah In Peace, Mr. Scott.

This was just unfair. How can someone so young and loved just be taken away... I really wasn't prepared to wake up and here the news when it broke, he just seemed so strong and ... idk, w/e. Life's a cruel bitch sometimes.
