Planet Earth: Final Fantasy style!

This may have been done before (probably with the Internet being soooo old now) but it's a bit of fun!

So, if you could chose a world from Final Fantasy to represent our own earth, which one would you choose?

What city/town would you choose to live in ideally? And why? :)

I think I'd have to choose Final Fantasy VIII, and I'd probably want to live in Winhill because I'm a simple bumpkin type who likes to be in natural surroundings and simple folk! ;)

I also choose FFVIII since it's already closest to our own world. I'd probably live in either Dollet or Fisherman Horizon. Both seemed pretty peaceful, that attack on disc 1 notwithstanding. I would have said Timber, but there's no way I'd get any sleep in that city.

Alexandria from IX, its a big city with a quaint small town feel. That or perhaps Black Mage Village.
