Promotional material better than the product

I'll catch trout for this, but the opening credits for The Walking Dead is better than the show :jess:

The soundtrack to 50 Shades of Grey isn't actually all that bad. The movie is.

I don't know why this sticks out in my mind since there are probably better examples, but the trailer for this old crappy movie called White Noise had me pumped for such a dud of a movie.

The CG movies Bioware was releasing before The Old Republic came out are better than what was delivered.
