Let's say that FF made a Pokemon style side game which gave you the ability to build a team of monsters taken directly out of the whole series. Who would your team of four FF monsters be be?
Some rules:
- No Main Villains or bosses
- No Superbosses or things like superbosses.
- Can't have multiples of the same monster, even if you choose different versions of it from across the series. (No Tonberry, Cauctar, Chocobo, or Behemoth teams)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 really made me wish there was a game that did this with FF's long list of monsters. It would be a ton of fun! It was one of my favorite aspects of XIII-2, but I don't particularly enjoy a lot of the monster designs of the XIII series.
I'll have to think about this. For some reason at this moment I'm having trouble thinking of the names of monsters and whatnot.
Didn't X-2 basically do this already?
Not with monsters from across the whole series, granted.
My team... I would have to think about it.
Probably take one from each game starting with
Ogre from FF

For me it would be Tonberry, T-Rexaur, Behemoth, Veteran, Magic Urn, and Marlboro.
I was thinking about a dragon, but I can't think of any memorable ones in the series other than Grand Dragon.
