I'm Live Blogging E3 again over on my own site this year. Didn't get home in time to make an actual article for this, sorry Paul! Will do one for EA onward.
So glad you're doing a liveblogging. I'm at work and we have a troutty connection so I can't watch any of the feeds here.

Microsoft just kicked a lot of ass.

Beyond Eyes seems really interesting! Shame I won't get an Xbox One for like 10 years

The holo lens is what did it for me. I mean I don't think it's going to be more than a casual thing (like the Wiimote or Kinect) but god damn that was some Star Wars trout right there.

Some cool looking things to come out of MS this year.

I was still debating my choice between xbox one and ps4. I was always leaning towards the Xbox 1. Microsoft today, just sold me on it 100% Sorry Sony but whatever you come out with ain't going to beat what Microsoft just dropped. The Holo Lens is smurfing insane but a major win was not only backwards compatibility but also that they're working it to allow you to play with people on xbox 360 consoles. This means for me I can play Destiny on the Xbox 1 with my clan mates even if they haven't made the upgrade. trout like that is smurfing amazing.
Not to mention Fallout 3 and 4 with mods!

Holo Lens looks unreal. VR doesn't do anything for me, because I heard you get sick playing anything with free movement, but this looks to have a much broader appeal. I know Phil Spencer will be at the PC Gamer conference so hopefully there's more announcements on that for Windows later this week. Really strong showing from Microsoft, especially since most of what they talked about seems like it's coming in the next 6-9 months.

Holo Lens reminds me of Kinect in that it is a really cool concept but until it's fully functional with 100% worthwhile uses for it, I'm still not gonna be shelling out any dough for it.
The main reason I would want something like Holo Lens would be to watch 3D live sport on my desk. Now that would be cool. For gaming, Football Manager would rock it.
