Sword w/ a gun..I'd use my gun as a last resort. Don't want to be wasting my golden bullets.

So it's Lightning's weapon versus Squall's weapon. I would argue that the Blaze Edge is probably the better weapon of the two but assuming it wasn't designed with such amazing stupidity as the gunblade a gun with a sword is more practical. Isn't that called a bayonet, anyhow?

Well if the arms in those pictures are relative to one another then the size of the bullets coming out of gun w/ a sword are like bombs, so it clearly wins.
A gun with a sword is basically a bayonet, so in the interests of originality I'm going with the sword with a gun.
