Make Your Own Enemies

This was something I really dug about FFX. In the end you fought YOUR Aeons. Whatever stats you had given them, whatever abilities you had given them, they would use against you. You had created your own custom-made boss.

Then it was all kinda squandered because you had Auto-Life but, forget that! It was still really awesome.

Is there anything like this in other games?

I recall hearing in...some game...Fire Emblem or Breath of Fire, one of those, you have two playable parties and at one point the parties come to blows. You can thus arrange for how tough your opponents are or something because you have set up all their equipment.

But other than that, I can't think of anything quite like what FFX did.

If I know how to mod Skyrim, I will be slaughtering MANUS at every turn. :bigsmile:
