Or maybe (IMO) just cause Dota as of right now the most played game on Steam, so they decide to get a quick cash grab...?
And the fact that it's only days before its actual release... I see lots (like lots) of discussion that people bought this game only for the Dota items...
Yes, I know some game devs and publishers did this kind of business practice...
