What do you guys think of this thrown-together cast I thought up? Do you have any of your own?

Yuffie: Brenda Song (One of the few prominent young Asian actresses in Anerican media :/)


Sephiroth: Jason Momoa
Rufus: Leonardo DiCaprio
Reno: Orlando Bloom
Rude: Shamar Moore
Tseng: Keanu Reeves
Elena: Chloe Sevigny
Reeve: Robert Downey Jr
Hojo: Hugo Weaving

No, just no.

And the only one even remotely looking like Sephiroth is a woman. Avril Lavigne. They have have similiar mouth as someone who watched Advent Children and her video "When you're gone" might notice. Not that it is the only face Sephiroth ever got. But at least to notice it.

They can't even get a CGI movie of Final Fantasy right. I don't want to see one live action.

That list is complied up of actors I either don't know, or can't see working in the role. Orlando Bloom as Reno? Leonardo DiCaprio as Rufus? Samuel L. Jackson as Barret? He'd get the profanity down, but that character is so meant to be played by Mr. T it's not even funny. Even though Mr. T probably wouldn't be good as Barret either.

Tifa could be either Anna Kendrick or Ashley Greene.

And I think you should make a thread about live action actors playing Final Fantasy characters in general.

Welp I can never see either of them the same way again now. Every time I see Sephiroth fighting Cloud, I'm going to hear: "hey hey you you I could be your girlfrieeend" :ohdear:

So, by finding Avril Lavigne hot. I also think Sephiroth is hot? :eek:

She DOES look like Sephiroth, but I'm personally against casting people just because they physically look like the person in question. They have to have the talent too.

My motivation is by casting for personality and "feel", not necessarily looks.

Sam Jackson doesn't look like Barret. He can pull off a passionately intense, even bitter, guy with a dark past and strong ideals though. He can give speeches about the planet and make it resonate.

Okaaaaay time to add Sephira to Clouds ever expanding harem list. Someone should warn Cloud about that Sephira though...heard she's got geostigma, oh wait too late!
