Or does everyone in your life know how big of a nerd you are?

I don't talk about FF often to co-workers and stuff but if it comes up, well, it comes up. "Oh yes, Final Fantasy. I've uh, I may or may not have played every game in the series anyway HOW ABOUT THAT ASSASSIN'S CREED EH."

This. I've probably bored several people to death with it too.

I am definitely open with my video game love but not many people seem to talk about FF much these days

I'm pretty open about gaming nerd cred but I don't actually have too many discussions about it with strangers or co-workers. I have a few friends I'll head to bars to and have a night of drinking and discourse but if a minor acquaintance mentions it, I'll say a few words and leave it that. So I guess I do hide the fanatical side of it.

If I do not talk about Final Fantasy I die.

i always say stuff bout FF, like if im playing a game and an enemy just dissapears i openly blame Exdeath. maybe im too nerdy:shobon::shrug:

I don't really express my interest or knowledge in the games, until I hear an acquaitance say something that is completely wrong and I correct the smurf out of them, then go back to doing whatever I was doing as if nothing happened.

I don't go out of my way to talk much about it, but if I see someone else into it I'll open up and get a feel for their nerdyness. If they are FF people I tell them about the site.

"wanna come over and see my final fantasy set up?"

"ok"?

"let me start with Final Fantasy 1-13, then I'll show you other titles I am hella good at."

Tbh, it never comes up. :shrug: If it did, I'd probably overnerd.

I wait until they open up the subject, then I unload the nerd cannon on them.

I try not to talk too much about it, nothing is more annoying than having someone else nerd out about something that you have no interest in.
