I've been wondering, Are here any consequences to overusing the no random encounters and infinite HP, MP and Limit/Trance boosters in the recent PC releases of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX?
What happens if the game is played with them turned on for the entire playthrough?
I'd imagine what happens is you have a lot less fun.

I wouldn't play with them ever. Sounds like a boring game. Let's listen to everyone have those on all game and tell everyone the game is easy and criticize anyone who worked to beat the game. For the love of god, stop making these things in games.
