AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Trailer looks exciting and we have more confirmation about other companions. Is that date for Japan only, or will it be a simultaneous release?
Also: are there any English trailers? The gameplay looks nice and dynamic, but it'd be nice to know what they're saying.
No English trailers AFAIK
Us EU folk will probably have to wait another year and a half, if we get it at all, that is. NIS America is no longer publishing Atlus's stuff here, so I'm worried about this and SMT IV: Apocalypse. P5 is no big deal, however, as the PS4 isn't region locked. The 3DS though...
As far as I know, yes, your hypothetical PS4 should hypothetically run a hypothetical American copy of Persona 5... Hypothetically.
We got the re-release of Devil Survivor 2 so I don't know why they wouldn't release it here.
But who knows.
Wasn't Record Breaker still released by NIS?
I dunno. xD It was only released just recently, so I assumed that it was the same guys as are doing things currently! I could be wrong.
I think the NIS thing is pretty recent
Yeah, the release date is just for Japan so far. Other places on the net figure that this game won't reach the West until next year and Europe by 2018.
Also, here's the box art.

2018?
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh.
Cool box art though. Guess I'll just stare at that until it finally releases.

Forgot to post this Staff Interview. Maybe one of the resident weeaboos can translate it for us.
Video reveals the necksnapping actual triggers the battle. Disappointing for me because in the trailer I thought it was a way to beat an enemy without going into an encounter.
From the five seconds of screentime, I can say without a doubt that girl with the curly hair and poofy pants is my favorite character.
