The water level thread got me thinking about how often people hate desert or sewer theme dungeons in RPGs but I'm sure there are other locations most people dislike too. What are type of locations that make you wince when you see you have to go there.

I hate sewer levels. They're always so cramped and confusing and usually lots and lots of poison enemies. Not sure if Xenogears or Witch and the Hundred Knight have the worst sewer level.

Sewer levels and caves. Caves can be done well if they do more than like... cave and ground. Ta da! It's just so boring and bland and blah

Not a big fan of caves or underground tunnels. Especially the Underground Ruins in Threads of Fate. I don't mind it so much with recent play throughs but I have some nasty memories of trying to play it when I was 10 and being too dumb to figure out how to get out of the infinite loop. Also smurfing zubats, man.
Deserts are also a disappointment to me, except in FFX, I actually liked that part of the game. Had some nice music, too.
