Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat

Which of these two classic fighter game franchises was your favorite?

Never been a fighting game fan in particular (way too complex), but I went with Street Fighter because it's the only one of the two I've played.

Definitely Mortal Kombat.

In terms of actual gameplay? The worst street Fighter games post SF2 are better than the best Mortal Kombats (well, not the street Fighter EX series, but you get the point).

Im terms of silly fun, Mortal Kombat. Sometimes you just want to cut someone in half with a bar groin first and hold up their segments in triumph.

Street Fighter! Mortal Kombat is too gory for my taste with that fatality thingy. :(
