Everytime I go to edit a post on my mobile I accidentally delete it. I realize it happens because the delete post button takes the whole width of my phone and as I scroll I will accidentally hit it. Then it will delete my post without prompt or anything. Is there something that can be done about this? Kinda annoying/discouraging.
Is there not a second screen you have to go to when deleting posts?
When I am deleting my own posts (from quick reply) I press delete, then I have to hit a radio button to confirm I want to delete it, then press delete for a second time.
Right I see the issue on the full reply screen. But you still have to check the box to actually delete your post, do you not?
Also what skin are you using? The Mobile skin or a desktop skin?
Oh yeah, I don't use the mobile skin. My bad. I'll have a look at that too.

Yep, the mobile skin is an automatic delete with no requirement to hit any other radio buttons.
Maybe there's a way to have the radio button not be automatically selected, like it is on the full site editor?
Mobile skin as it defaults on my cellphone. Yeah and I have big fingers so yeah...
The good news is that if you create a thread in Private Feedback then we can undelete your post for you. Just tell us the thread and a rough post # within the thread.
I'm not sure how easy it would be to change it to require more than one button press. Certainly nothing in my skillset. Might have to see if Rantz/Mike/Samu can come up with something if any of them have the time...

Should get a confirmation popup when you click it now. I tried to make the button not be full-width as well, but jQuery mobile is confusing and replaces a bunch of markup when the page loads and I didn't want to spend too much time figuring it out. Hopefully this should cover it.

I just noticed that when I tried to edit on the mobile skin, clicking on the box with my text I want to edit pulls up the delete message instead of letting me edit. This just happened in the XV forum. Clicking anywhere on my screen was registering as hitting the delete button I think except when I tapped in the preview post button. I don't know if that's related to this for sure but I figured I would bring it up.
