To not be a negative nancy, name some things the series has done over the years that makes you happy!
The soundtracks of the series are still some of my all-time favorites and listening to them gives me that nostalgic rush and makes me recall why I fell in love with the series in the first place and why it holds a special place in my heart even today.
Ivalive is one of the best settings in video game history.
Final Fantasy led to the formation of Eyes on Final Fantasy.
That for me is the best thing it ever did.
Sexy cosplayers wearing Tifa or Rikku outfits.
Music, I feel it's safe to say that if there is one element the franchise has always nailed it's the soundtracks to these games. Also their world concepts are always interesting. Their execution is somewhat hit-or-miss but on paper, ever FF game sounds really interesting and feels unique to other RPG series.
I've always been a fan of the art for Final Fantasy. Particularly the works of Amano and Yoshida (sorry Nomura, I still love you for Parasite Eve). Hell, I actually got into the series as a whole because the box art for FFIV Advance was so different and visually striking.
Brought Ser Aymeric to the world.
