Gotta prep for KH3! Good luck with Chain of Memories. I got over half way through, couldn't do a boss fight and got so mad about that fact, that I restarted the game on easy.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to do much. It's okay, I like having the moral high ground and making passive aggressive comments. Oh wow Donald, it sure must be nice to not have to worry about conserving your MP in case one of us gets seriously hurt. Oh, huh, there's a Stop spell Donald? The big problem with Donald is that he only waits for an absolute emergency to cure you and at that point, you can't just hope he takes care of it and instead have to cast cure yourself. Then you both end up casting it at the same time and you're just wasting MP.
Bonus points for him casting Aero after the last enemy dies in a coliseum fight.

Donald's AI is just t he worst, even in the remaster, KH1 donald just can't do much of anything.
