Freya's thread about the Spyro remake had me wondering which one everyone prefers? I'm happy everyone is excited for the announcement but it never really grabbed me the way Crash did. I remember the gameplay being pretty clunky too.
If you had to choose, where would your loyalties lie?
Crash. Crash Bandicoot was the first video game I ever played. I'm still looking forward to the Spyro remake, though.
Spyro. Crash is just a simple platform while spyro was a 3D platformer! You didn't have many of that more open world level design at the time. There were only a handful of them.
Plus... dragons duh

Crash 1 > Spyro 1
Crash 2 = Spyro 2
Crash 3 < Spyro 3

I don't know. I feel that they are distinct enough to both be able to co-exist peacefully.
But, if I must choose, I will go with Rez's idea of making this decision.
Crash 1 > Spyro 1
Crash 2 > Spyro 2
Crash 3 < Spyro 3
So uh... I guess Crash.
