I guess I like FFV the best of these. A lot of them I haven't played. Final Fantasy is okay, but just ok. FF3 is maybe a bit better than the first but I haven't finished. I hate FFXII. I like FFV less than all the games in the most hated of the best as well as my choice for best of the hated, but it's alright. It'll do.
I know I'm in the minority regarding this, but FFV is my favorite of the SNES era. I feel like it perfectly captures what games of that time were best at, with a wonderful sense of humor and an incredibly addictive and fun gameplay system to boot.
Also, FF XII. It's so much fun, especially in its Zodiac Age iteration.
I really like FFV and FFXII and voted for both because they deserve more love, but I think a prefer FFXII a bit.

V is my favorite in the series.
How did people vote for more than one?
FFV & FFXIV get my votes, but FFV is the one I thought should win and it's doing so. :)
Imagine thinking of some of these games as "leftovers." It makes me sad.
Some? That's pretty much the way I think of all of these games. FFV is the best to me and I still think of it more as a decent average RPG than a solid FF entry.
Represented in this list: 2 of the best 4 games in the series. Plus Final Fantasy 1, which is old but was really good in the era it came out.
