Yeah, drop them. As someone who has only played the numbered ones (and CoM later on after the fact) it's a confusing cluster smurf that required a lot of wiki-ing to find out who any of these people are and why I should care.
I mean, it’s no surprise you’re not invested when you haven’t played the actually good games with all the character moments
Serves them right for not putting Darkwing Duck in KH4 (I'm calling it already).

Oh no, don't get me wrong. I like them all fine. There's just so much more stuff in this series that it's really hard for me to fathom ever choosing not to get deeper into that trout. Like, the other two main trios are just precious and everything about them is just so lovely.
