A lot of players, particularly in games where you can change your name on the fly, try to think of something witty to show up on the text input.
So if you called yourself "Logging Off" or "Microsoft" the text would look like this:
-StonerDude66 was killed by Logging Off
-Microsoft was killed by DaddyLongLegs
etc
