Best male role model in gaming

Alright now I'm just curious. Since we do seem to be having some bit of trouble thinking of a lot of good female role models in gaming, it's made me curious what you guys think are actually good *male* role models in gaming?

Like, big strong man whatever, but who actually makes for a good role model in your eyes? Someone who you consider a good person to consider an inspiration through their drives, actions or character arcs, whatever. And do you consider role models more people who are just born with the traits you value, or people who have to fail and learn things the hard way?

Probably Ramza. Just the commitment to do the right thing even when the system is actively trying to sabotage you.

I will have to think about this. I think I would likely choose a character who goes through significant growth and likely fails from time to time over someone who is just morally good as a person as their main character trait. I'll have to think on this one.

Runs an orphanage? Carries on one mentor's legacy? Forgave the man who killed his other mentor, and helped them become a better person?
