Wow! How many years...?

Heyo!

I'm Rainecloud, AKA Philip from Manchester UK. I joined Eyesonff back in 2000 as a high school student who loved FFVI, VII, VIII and IX.

I'm posting this to THANK YOU. I had so many amazing memories here during my youth and growing up. I'm 38 now, Married to a wonderful Wife with two boys aged 18 and 20, and a doggo aged 4 and a half.

I remember being here during 9/11 and chatting to people here, and beyond during some of the difficult times in my life. I remember Loony BoB, Dr Unne, Agent Proto, Kawaii Ryukishi, Sephiroth1999AD and so many more of you incredible people; most of which I guess aren't even active these days...

But I wanted you to know how much of an integral part of my life this place was... and still is. It helped me so much as a kid; and I love you all. Long Live EYESONFF!

No problem as long as Del keeps funding the place. Those people you mentioned have mostly left and abandoned this place to rot. :(

But no fear. After I became rich enough and outlasted the remaining members here, I will buy the place over and populate it with bots that worship me. It will be a paradise. :bigsmile:

My thoughts often return to this place and it's nice to check in sporadically. Kinda like how I like to watch Clueless every 4 or 5 years. There's a nice familiarity to it. And I like the idea that in a few decades when I get old, demented, and lonely I can come here and find company in Christmas praising bots. Hail Christmas!
