Well this sucks. I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU CAN HELP ME OUT.:love:
I was installing directX8.01 and it froozed on me on start up. Now some dll files are missing
like ddraw.dll
I can't even play music on my computer.
:(
If you know of any dll sites and how to install dlls the right way please tell me.

Tried reinstalling DirectX again? If it doesn't freeze again, it'll replcae the files itself. Or tr installing an older version back on top so you'll still at least have (older versions of) those files available for use.
I was told that you can't overwrite newer versions of Direct-X with older versions.
Am I correct?
Yes, you can't downgrade DirectX :p
But seeing as it was a failed installation, and the new one's not actually installed, the version you previously had (or newer) should still be installable.
