Eyes on FF rules?

Hey yo. I was wondering were the rules page is actually posted if any exists because for as long as I have been here I can't ever remember seeing a 'Rules' page or anything of the sort.

Example of something I am sure not too many people know about is that if you ask to be banned you can't be unbanned. When the hell was that ever announced? I asked to be banned by Cid a long time ago so that I would have no distractions while studying and I was unbannded after finals.

Is there a rules page? If not then one should really be created so people know what not to do.

This is something that has always bothered me by the way.

I'm pretty sure there's no real official rules page to prevent the staff from being restricted by them in what they can do. We prefer to trust each other to do what's right in different situations. I guess certain general rules should be written somewhere though, like banning rules.

So the thing with banning is that there will be no more banning members because they asked to be banned, so members asking to come back wont be a problem. I think you can come back after being banned though, if it's determined before you're banned that the banning is just temporary. I think that's what people should officially go by from now on. Anyone's free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

Think of all the laws in America. Now think of all the court cases where people can find ways around the rules so that they don't get what they deserve.

That's another reason why we don't have set rules.

There are the obvious ones though, yeah, like no flaming, no porn, etc. Y'no.

I go to another board were you can flame and it is okay. Great place. Just because you think it is obvious doesn't mean it really is considering other place out there which can be more forgiveing and allow more. Since there is no rule saying no flaming and a person from one of those boards comes here how are they suppose to know if they start to get into a fight? There isn't anything saying so.

Everyone gets at least one warning by PM when they do something wrong before we can consider banning them. That's how people learn the rules. Better than posting the rules, relying on people to read them (which they won't), and banning people with no warning because they should know better.

I know we all get the warnings(I of all should know). It is just something that has always bothered me I guess.

Anyways where the hell was I looking if Unne updated that thing days ago? *is outta it*

I've never read the rules or the FAQ anyway. Not even when I was a n00b. [/bad example]

Unlike America, here we have no rights. Therefore they can do whatever they want. So we better behave (he says as he spams up the Feedback Forum).
