Okay, I'm in my eighth month here (registered in April, now December) and I still can't seem to locate any Custom User Text field in my options. I wonder if maybe the counter goes by weeks? Or maybe I have to be past my eighth month for it to kick in.

Checked your profile, it appears you've been here for 7 months (216 days). I think you should have it in 24-25 days.
Under Edit Profile, there should be a place for it when it's activated. You registered 4/29 though. So that means you should get it on 12/29, right?

what about me? I registered sometime in April too, do you know when I'll get my custom rank?

Same thing add 8 months on to your join date.
e.g mine: I joined on the 23-07-02
Which means I get mine on 23-02-03 (coincidently my Birthday weird eh?)

Yah, then if someone registerd on May 1st they'd have to wait till January, while you had it since now. Not really fair.
Actually we *have* to nail it to the day; That's how vBulletin automatically assigns it: Days since registered. We say 8 months because that makes more sense to human than 240 days.
