You never could change your own name. Only administrators can.

You have to PM admin's with the new name you want, and they and only they can change it.

People are changing their names a lot the last couple of days in celebration of EoFF's third anniversary, durring which people switch their name/sig/ava/etc to that of the opposite gender (the gender swap, which you'll find a thread about in Gen Chat).

Typically, administrators won't change your name anymore. There's been a problem with people name-jumping all over the place, and admin've gotten tired of changing it. If you do change your name, be prepaired to stick with it for a few months.

Just PM and admin if you want your name changed. They may say no.
