I read through the FAQ and it said that if I want to use a custom avatar then it has to be 60x60 and under 5k. My avatar is 32x34 and under 5k. I tried uploading it and I got this...

It works for me, man. Try saving it as a different file type.
Can I see the file your trying to upload(try remote linking it here or uploading it (if that works))?

I just tried uploading it and it worked, so I really don't know. Try what BOU said and upload it as a .jpg or something.

How am I supposed to use it to get my avatar working?
Just copy the link BoB provided, and paste it in the use from URL box.
You can also try clicking the icon, dragging it to your address bar, copying that location on your hard drive, and trying to use THAT as your avatar. Sometimes that ends up working for me when all else fails.
On the other hand, you can also just ask one of the admins to install that avatar FOR you.
