Pleeeeease Heeeelp!!!!
Ok I have Final Fantasy VII for the PC and I have fixed most of the problems that it has given me. Now everytime I play the game, either going into a fight or loading a new scene, the game crashes. Why does it do this? I have downloaded patches and the latest drivers for my video card. I have a pentium 4, 2gig processor, Nvidia geforce 2 mx/200, 256MB of RAM, with Windows 2000. Is any of this conflicting with the game?
I have had this game for a long time and was never able to play it because my older computer was way too slow. Now i have this computer and it still doesn't work. Please Help me.... Thanks.

FF7 PC requires a patch to work with nVidia's TNT chipset, upon which the GeForce series is based.
You can get the patch here (2.4 MB)

I'm not sure that Windows 2000 needs it, but I know that XP needs the chocobo patch, so the game won't crash on the chocobo races. Might want to find about that also.
