how do u guys get custom pictures that fit? it practically ALWAYS says that the image is too big to fit and so when i edit it on paint shop and stuff it always says its not a valid image or some crap like that. please help!

I believe the avatars have to be in .gif, .jpg, or .png format. You probably saved the images as .psp's.
Edit: Oh, it also has to be 60x60, or lower to be used.

and im POSITIVE that i saved it as a gif file. please somebody help!
Open the file back up, and make sure it's not filename.gif.psp. I've actually done that a few times. -_-
oh well. i give up. i just decided to go to google.com and typed in ff10 avatars lol thats how i just got that cool yuna one see? lol thanks for the help
Load it into Paint, highlight it and change the scale to pixels and size to 60 x 60.
Could have been the IE bug that saved it as BMP format really, if you got it off the web :p
*shrugs* If you still want the one that wouldn't work, attach it to a post and I'll see if I can't get it working.
If all else fails, as long as it's 60x60 or smaller and fits the filesize limitations (what was it, 4k? 5k? I'll have to double-check) and you still can't install it, I can install it via the admin control panel. That ignores a lot of limitations. *had a 100x100 av once*

hey, hehe i got it! but i still can't get an image for my sig...
o nvm i got it. i just used boomspeed and it worked! yay!
